The OTTIMANIA Legacy Movement is set to make a strong presence at the inauguration of the Abia State Labour Party Campaign Advisory Council on Sunday, November 1, 2026, as members prepare to turn out in solidarity with their leaders appointed to the council and in support of Governor Alex Chioma Otti, OFR’s 2027 re-election bid.

The movement’s anticipated turnout is expected to reflect its organisational strength and commitment to the Otti–Emetu continuity project, with its leadership and membership across Abia State expected to converge on the Umuahia Township Stadium for the ceremony.

At the centre of the mobilisation are Ambassador Dr Osita Offor, President of OTTIMANIA; Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, CON, Chairman of its Board of Trustees; and Dr Monday Ubani, SAN, alongside Chief Ray Nkemdirim, MFR, Chief Johnson Chukwu and other prominent members of the movement named to the Advisory Council.

Other prominent members include former Abia State Chief of Staff, Prof. A.C.B. Agbazuere; former Senator Chris Adighije; Chief Ken Ahia, SAN; Chief Umeh Kalu, SAN; Chief Ncheta Omerekpe; Chief Leslie Ezeikpe; Rt. Hon. Arua Arunsi; Chief Jackson Agbai; Ambassador Okey Emuchay; Engr. Enyinnaya Nwafor; and Senator Bob Nwannunu

Their inclusion in the council has further strengthened OTTIMANIA’s representation in the Labour Party’s campaign structure, placing key figures of the movement within the body charged with advising on the party’s preparations for the 2027 governorship election.

High Chief Uzor Ekworomadu, State Executives Director General of OTTIMANIA, had earlier applauded Governor Otti for appointing the movement’s leaders and members to the council, describing the appointments as recognition of their political contributions and involvement in the Governor’s re-election project.

The Advisory Council will be chaired by former Deputy Governor of Abia State and former Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu, PhD. Its membership cuts across the state’s 17 local government areas.

The inauguration is scheduled for Sunday, November 1, at the Umuahia Township Stadium, with members expected to be seated by 12 noon. A church service will precede the main programme.

For OTTIMANIA, the planned turnout goes beyond the presence of its appointed leaders. It is an opportunity for members to demonstrate solidarity with their representatives in the Advisory Council and reaffirm the movement’s commitment to Governor Otti and Deputy Governor Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu, FNSE, ahead of the 2027 elections.

With its leadership and grassroots structures expected at the venue, OTTIMANIA is looking to make its presence felt at the inauguration as the Labour Party advances its campaign preparations.

OTTIMANIA: BE PART OF THE HISTORY.
