Bamanga Tukur: Osita Offor’s TUWCO Mourns Former Board Member, Salutes Elder Statesman

Ambassador Dr Osita Offor, “De Ultimate Commander”, (Ikenga Gburugburu of Ohafia and Nneato Ancient Kingdoms), has expressed heartfelt condolences to the family of former PDP National Chairman and elder statesman, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, who is being laid to rest today.

Tukur, who served as one of the board members of The Ultimate Wrestling and Charity Organization (TUWCO), an NGO founded by Ambassador Osita Offor, was remembered for his contributions to public service and his association with initiatives aimed at touching lives beyond the realm of politics.

For Ambassador Offor, the passing of the respected statesman represents the loss of not only a distinguished Nigerian but also a valued member of the TUWCO family.

Tukur, who died at the age of 90, had a long and distinguished public career, including service as Governor of the old Gongola State, National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party and involvement in Nigeria’s ports administration, international trade and industry.

Beyond the positions he occupied, his career was marked by a longstanding engagement with national development and public affairs.

His association with TUWCO also reflected his willingness to identify with causes and initiatives focused on social impact, charity and the empowerment of people.

As he is laid to rest today, Ambassador Osita Offor extends his deepest sympathies to the Tukur family, his friends, associates and the many Nigerians whose lives and careers he influenced.

He prayed that God would grant the family the strength to bear the loss and grant the departed elder statesman eternal rest.

For Ambassador Osita Offor and the entire TUWCO family, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur’s memory remains that of a respected elder, statesman and valued board member whose contributions will not be forgotten.
