My Pact With Ohafia South Electorate Is A Commitment To Progress And Development – Chidi Igwe Ukah

The NDC candidate for Ohafia South State Constituency, Chidi Igwe Ukah, has described his political pact with the electorate as a commitment to advancing development and improving the quality of representation in the constituency.

Ukah said his aspiration to represent Ohafia South in the Abia State House of Assembly is driven by the need to give the constituency representation that responds to the concerns of the people and addresses issues affecting their communities.

He stressed that his understanding with the electorate goes beyond securing votes, noting that the mandate of the people must come with a clear responsibility to speak for them, pursue their interests through legislative processes and remain answerable to them.

The candidate maintained that the development of Ohafia South requires representation that gives attention to neglected needs, supports community-based development initiatives and pushes for interventions that directly benefit residents.

He said the confidence reposed in him by the electorate would be treated as a responsibility, not merely a political endorsement, adding that his commitment is to work towards a constituency where the people’s expectations receive serious attention.

Ukah urged the electorate to identify with his aspiration, describing their support as essential to securing the kind of representation and development he seeks for Ohafia South.
