The birthday of High Chief Dr. Vincent Chukwukezie Udobi, popularly known as Ike Ifite Dunu and Onwa Ifite Dunu, attracted a large gathering of friends, well-wishers, business associates and other dignitaries who came together to celebrate the occasion.
The birthday celebration took place in his country home in ifite Dunu,Dunukofial local government Anambra State.
Speaking at the event, the National President of the Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU), Prince Emeka Kalu, described the celebrant as a prominent community leader and philanthropist from Ifitedunu, in Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State, who has touched many lives through his numerous humanitarian activities.
He noted that Chief Udobi had contributed significantly to human development and community welfare.
In her remarks, the celebrant’s wife, Barrister Ada Udobi, revealed that the birthday celebration was a surprise package she had organised for her husband.
She explained that she considered it worthwhile to celebrate her loving husband, whom she described as a benevolent man who puts smiles on people’s faces and has made remarkable contributions to human capacity development.
Earlier, the celebrant, High Chief Dr. Vincent Chukwukezie Udobi, expressed gratitude to his wife and all those who came to celebrate with him. He appreciated their love and support and prayed for journey mercies for everyone who attended the occasion.
The event attracted top government officials, senior security personnel, bishops, clergymen and other notable personalities from different walks of life.
The cutting of the birthday cake and dance by the celebrant formed part of the highlights of the celebration.
