The OTTIMANIA Legacy Movement has welcomed Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, to Umunneochi Local Government Area, restating its commitment to his re-election in 2027 and the continuation of his administration’s development agenda.

The Movement’s President, Ambassador Dr. Osita Offor “De Ultimate Commander” (Ikenga Gburugburu), conveyed the welcome on behalf of the Board of Trustees, led by Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, and the Advisory Council.

In a statement signed by its Director of Media and Publicity/Spokesperson, Bright Ejike, the Movement described the governor’s visit as an opportunity to strengthen government-community relations and expand grassroots participation in governance.

It said the visit also reinforced the need for equitable development across Abia State, irrespective of geographical location.

Assessing the Otti administration, OTTIMANIA Legacy Movement identified infrastructural renewal, institutional reforms, education, healthcare and economic development as areas in which the government had demonstrated commitment. It maintained that leadership should be judged by measurable results, effective policies and the capacity to address longstanding challenges.

The Movement said Umunneochi residents had an opportunity to engage with an administration whose development agenda places emphasis on the inclusion and prosperity of all communities in the state.

Reaffirming its political objective, OTTIMANIA stated that its primary mission was to mobilise support for the consolidation of the administration’s achievements and Governor Otti’s re-election in 2027.

It disclosed that it was expanding its grassroots structure across Abia’s 17 local government areas through strategic mobilisation and organised political engagement.

The Movement also cautioned against a return to what it described as the years of stagnation, insisting that a change of administration could jeopardise the continuity of ongoing projects and reforms.

“The task before us is to protect the progress already made, strengthen the foundations being laid and ensure that the vision of a greater Abia is fully realised,” the statement said.

It called on residents of Umunneochi and Ndi Abia to continue supporting the Otti administration and its development agenda.
