Ndi Bende ibem good evening to you all. As you are reading this article this evening, kindly know that no matter your political affiliation, Bende is one big family.
From Igbere to Item. From Alayi to Ozuitem. From Itumbuzo to Ezeukwu. From Bende town to Uzuakoli, from Umunnato to Ikwuisi. We are brothers and sisters, united by blood, by land, and by destiny. I want you to know that election will come and go but Ala Bende will remain.
For sometime now, politics has tried to divide us. Village against village. Zone against zone. Brother against brother. And when Bende is divided, Bende cannot be secure. When Bende is divided, Bende cannot be prosperous.
A divided house cannot stand. A divided Bende cannot attract federal projects. A divided Bende cannot fight for its fair share in Abuja. A divided Bende is weak before its enemies and forgotten by its friends.
Umunne m na Umunna m, Hon. Pascal Karibe Ojigwe knows this truth and that’s why he is contesting so that he will unify every community in Bende

That is why he is not contesting as a man of one village. He is not contesting because he is from Umunnato or Ikwuisi. He is not contesting because he is coming from this or that particular zone.
He is contesting because he wants to unite Bende so that there will be peace and prosperity for all.
He is contesting as The Bende Unifier (Omeziri Bende)
LOOK AROUND YOU AND ASK YOURSELF, WHAT CAN I DO TO MAKE BENDE BETTER?
What Bende needs is a unifier, not someone who will divide the people for self or political interest.
Bende does not need a leader who will play Igbere against Item. Bende does not need a leader who will share projects by “my zone first.” Bende does not need a leader who will use division to stay in power. Bende does not need politics of bitterness, blackmail, and threading banter, falsehood and others.
What Bende needs is a man who will carry everybody along and bring the much needed change to Bende
Ndi Bende ibem, we need a man who will sit with elders in Igbere and youths in Item with the same respect. A man who will attract NDDC, Federal, and State projects to Alayi, Ozuitem, Itumbuzo and Ezeukwu equally. A man whose interest is Bende first, not self first. A man with vision to unite, capacity to deliver, and passion to serve.
That man is Hon. Pascal Karibe Ojigwe. The NDC candidate for Bende Federal Constituency
Hon. Karibe believes that peace is not just the absence of war. Peace is the presence of unity. And unity is the foundation of security.
When Bende is united, our security is strong. When every ward watches for each other, criminals have no hiding place. When our traditional rulers, our youths, our women, and our traders work together, no one can threaten our land.
Hon. Karibe will push for a Community Security Model for Bende:
- He will support our vigilantes and community watch groups in all eleven wards with training and equipment.
- He will advocate for functional police stations and patrols in strategic towns like Bende, Igbere, Item, and Alayi.
- He will work with our traditional rulers and town unions to create a security communication network, where every village can alert the next village quickly.
- He will empower our youths with jobs and skills, because an idle youth is a security risk, but an empowered youth is a protector of his community.
Under his watch, there will be Safe roads. Safe farms. Safe markets. Safe schools. Safe nights.
Nde ibeayi did you know that when Bende is safe, traders will stay open late. Farmers will carry their produce to market without fear. Investors will come and build shops, hotels, and factories. Our sons and daughters in the diaspora will return to build houses and start businesses.
When Bende is united, our voice is loud in Abuja. Federal projects will locate in Bende. Roads will come to Alayi and Igbere. Lights will come to Item and Itumbuzo. Water and health centres will reach Ezeukwu, Ozuitem, and Uzuakoli.
Hon. Karibe will bring opportunities that produce prosperity:
- Skills centres in Bende, Igbere, and Item where youths can learn ICT, welding, tailoring, agro-processing, and modern farming, with starter kits to begin their own businesses.
- Support for our women traders with soft loans and cooperative funding.
- Agriculture processing for our cassava, palm oil, and rice farmers, so our farm produce becomes income, not waste.
- Federal jobs and NYSC support for our graduates, because Bende deserves its fair share.
- Sports development and a Bende Tech Hub, so our youths can earn from home without leaving Bende.
A united Bende is a secure Bende. A secure Bende is a prosperous Bende.
This is the lesson of Dee Sam Mbakwe of blessed memory. Mbakwe did not divide his people. He united them. He walked with the common man because his people were united behind him, he was able to fight for them and build for them.
Just like Dee Sam Mbakwe, Hon. Karibe Ojigwe will be a true representative of his people.
Hon. Karibe carries that same spirit. He will not be a representative who hides in Abuja. He will be a representative who comes home, listens, and acts. He will carry the cries of Bende to the National Assembly. He will speak when Bende needs to be heard. He will defend the interest of the poor, the widow, the farmer, the student, and the trader.
Hon. Pascal Karibe Ojigwe is calling on umu Afor Bende to get their PVCs, mobilize their families, protect their votes, and come out to vote for capacity.
No division. No violence. No intimidation. No one left behind.
Under Hon. Karibe, peace will produce opportunities. Opportunities will produce jobs. Jobs will produce security. Security will produce prosperity.
Bende is bigger than one village. Bende is bigger than one zone. Bende is one family.
And with Karibe as our unifier, Bende will sleep in peace, work in prosperity, and rise in glory.
Vision to unite us. Capacity to develop us. Passion to serve us.
Vote NDC. Vote Karibe Ojigwe.
For Unity. For Peace. For Prosperity.
Bende Will Be Okay.
