Ambassador Dr. Osita Offor “De Ultimate Commander”, President of OTTIMANIA Legacy Movement, has made a clarion call on patriotic Abians to support the return of Governor Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, in 2027, saying continuity is necessary to consolidate the progress recorded across the state.
Offor said Abians should judge the Otti administration by what is visible on the ground — roads, infrastructure, public-sector reforms, improved fiscal transparency and renewed attention to education and healthcare.
“Continuity is not about one man. It is about ensuring that what is working does not stop halfway,” Offor said.
Under Otti, the Abia Government has completed hundreds of road projects across the state, including major roads and bridges in Aba, Umuahia, Ohafia and other communities.
The administration has also placed emphasis on fiscal discipline and transparency. BudgIT reported that Abia moved from 17th to 4th position in its State of States fiscal transparency assessment within two years.
Education and healthcare have equally received increased attention, with significant allocations in the 2026 budget and ongoing rehabilitation of schools, hospitals and primary healthcare facilities.
For Offor, these developments provide the basis for his call for continuity.
He argued that Abia needs a government capable of taking ongoing projects to completion, sustaining reforms and building on the foundation already laid.
His message to Abians is therefore straightforward: where government is delivering measurable results, the conversation should be about how to consolidate the gains.
“Abia cannot afford to keep starting afresh. We must build on what we have started,” he said.
The Ambassador Offor’s position aligns with the central message of OTTIMANIA Legacy Movement— that the 2027 political conversation should include the question of continuity and the preservation of projects and reforms already underway.
For the movement, the choice is ultimately about the direction Abia wants to take beyond 2027: continue the current development trajectory or begin another political cycle with a different approach. The answer is obvious and practical “affliction must not arise the second time”.
