Uko Nkole Consults NDC Chieftain Kachi Iheme, Reaffirms Commitment To Peter Obi’s Presidency

Rt. Hon. Uko Ndukwe Nkole has continued his consultations with critical stakeholders of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), as he met with a prominent party chieftain and leader, Dr. Kachi Iheme, at his country home in Acha Village, Isiukwuato Local Government Area of Abia State.

Nkole was accompanied by Elvis Ignis Ogbonna, NDC candidate for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency, and Chief Uduma Nnoke, NDC chieftain in Ohafia Local Government Area.

The consultation provided an opportunity for the political leaders to exchange views on the political direction of Abia State and the broader movement for a new Nigeria ahead of the 2027 elections.

A major point of convergence was the growing campaign for the emergence of Peter Obi as President of Nigeria in 2027, with Nkole and his associates stressing the need for Nigerians to rally behind the former Anambra State Governor as the candidate capable of providing purposeful leadership and charting a new course for the country.

The meeting also reinforced the NDC’s grassroots mobilisation strategy, with stakeholders continuing consultations across communities and local government areas ahead of the 2027 general elections.

For Nkole, the engagement represents another step in building wider political participation and strengthening the message of political change from the grassroots to the national level.
