. ..deepens Stakeholder Engagement Across Bende, Ohafia
Rt. Hon. Uko Ndukwe Nkole, last Saturday, continued his consultations with critical stakeholders across Abia North Senatorial District, engaging traditional rulers and civil society leaders in Bende and Ohafia.
The engagements formed part of ongoing consultations by the former federal lawmaker as he seeks to strengthen relationships with stakeholders and mobilise support for Mr. Peter Obi’s presidential project, his political aspirations and the wider project of purposeful leadership.
In Bende, Nkole paid a courtesy call on the Chairman of the Bende LGA Traditional Rulers Council, HRH Uchenna Okorie, at his palace in Uzuakoli.
The meeting provided an opportunity for interaction with the traditional leadership and discussions on issues concerning the people and the future of Bende and Abia North.
The engagement was attended by NDC chieftain, Chief Uchenna Okagbue, alongside Mr. Emeka Philips and Barr. Jonas Udensi, representing Bende South and Bende North respectively.
From Bende, Nkole proceeded to Ohafia, where he interacted with the leadership and members of Vision For Good Governance, led by its Director-General, Iroha John Igwe.
During the engagement, Nkole solicited the organisation’s support for the Peter Obi presidential project and his own candidature, stressing the need for collective mobilisation around the principles of good governance, purposeful leadership and a better Nigeria.
He expressed appreciation to the Director-General and members of Vision For Good Governance for their warm reception and the constructive interaction.
The engagements underscore Nkole’s continuing stakeholder consultations across the senatorial district as political realignments ahead of the 2027 elections gather momentum.
For Rt. Hon. Uko Nkole, the message remains clear: sustained engagement, broader consultation and collective action towards a better political future for Abia North and Nigeria.
