The OTTIMANIA Legacy Movement has commenced what it describes as a strategic grassroots mobilisation drive across Abia State, officially throwing open its doors to volunteers and key stakeholders willing to play active roles in the campaign structure ahead of the formal commencement of political campaigns.

The pro-Labour Party movement, which is officially registered to support the re-election of Governor Alex Chioma Otti, as well as other Labour Party candidates in the 2027 general elections, said it is laying a solid organisational foundation before campaign activities begin next month.

According to a statement issued on behalf of the Management Team by Dr. Uduma Nnate, the movement is determined to “hit the ground running” through an extensive grassroots mobilisation strategy designed to strengthen the Labour Party’s support base across the 17 Local Government Areas of Abia State.

The statement noted that the movement is convened by prominent Abia stakeholders, including Osita Offor, High Chief Ray Nkemdirim, Engr. Henry Okoroafor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, Prince Uzor Nwachukwu, Hon. Chief Ginger Onwusibe, Hon. Chief Amobi Ogah, Hon. Chief Obi Aguocha, alongside other respected political leaders committed to advancing the Labour Party’s electoral objectives.

As part of its organisational build-up, the OTTIMANIA Legacy Movement has announced vacancies for several strategic leadership positions, including State Director of Contacts and Mobilisation, State Director of Finance, State Women Leader, State Youth Leader, Coordinators for the 17 Local Government Areas, and Coordinator for Abia Diaspora Contacts and Mobilisation.

The management further disclosed that the comprehensive organisational structure of the movement will be unveiled within the next one week, while interested volunteers and individuals wishing to nominate qualified persons have been encouraged to submit their expressions of interest through direct messages to the management.

The initiative signals the movement’s resolve to consolidate grassroots support for Governor Otti’s second-term bid while strengthening the Labour Party’s campaign machinery ahead of the 2027 elections.

The statement concluded by extending a Happy New Month message to members, supporters, and the people of Abia State, expressing optimism about the movement’s mission and the future of the state.
