The Chief of Staff to the Abia State Governor, PST Caleb Ajagba, PhD, has charged members of the Otti-Mania Legacy Movement to remain committed to the objectives of the movement and work towards the return of all Labour Party candidates in the forthcoming elections. Ajagba gave the charge at the Government House Banquet Hall, Umuahia, while addressing members of the movement, urging them to take the message of Governor Alex Otti’s developmental achievements to the grassroots and hinterlands of Abia State. He commended the movement for its commitment, loyalty and sustained support for the Governor’s administration, stressing that the developmental gains recorded under Otti must be consolidated through effective grassroots mobilisation.


Also speaking, the Abia State Labour Party Chairman, Hon. Peter Azubuike, advised members of the movement to work in synergy with the party leadership and other support groups to strengthen the party’s grassroots structure. He emphasised the importance of unity, coordination and effective communication among stakeholders, urging the movement to channel its energy towards constructive mobilisation and ensuring that the message of good governance and development reaches every ward and community across Abia State.
In his speech, the President of the Movement, Ambassador Osita Offor, the Ultimate Commander (Ikenga Gbogbo-ruru), expressed appreciation to members for their dedication and confidence in the vision of the movement. He reaffirmed the group’s determination to deepen its presence across the state, promising that the Otti-Mania Legacy Movement would continue to mobilise, enlighten and galvanise the people in support of the Governor’s development agenda and the return of Labour Party candidates. He called on members to remain united, disciplined and committed to the collective objective of building on the achievements of the present administration.

In his remarks, the Director-General of the Movement, High Chief Uzor Ekworommadu, appreciated the leadership of the movement, members and other stakeholders for their support and commitment to its objectives. He assured that the leadership would continue to provide the necessary direction and coordination to ensure that the movement remains active across the various local government areas and communities. He also pledged that the movement would intensify its grassroots activities and continue to champion the developmental strides of Governor Alex Otti.
The meeting ended with renewed commitment by the leadership and members of the Otti-Mania Legacy Movement to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and consolidate the gains of the Otti administration. The speakers stressed the need for sustained unity, peaceful political engagement and collective action, expressing confidence that the movement would continue to serve as a strong platform for communicating the achievements of Governor Alex Otti and mobilising support for the return of Labour Party candidates across Abia State.
