Ambassador Dr. Osita Offor “De Ultimate Commander” (Ikenga Gburugburu of Ohafia and Nneato Ancient Kingdoms), has felicitated with the people of Abia State on the commencement of a new month, urging residents to remain steadfast in supporting the administration of Governor Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, by embracing the OTTIMANIA Movement and obtaining their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
In a goodwill message released to mark the beginning of the new month, Ambassador Offor expressed gratitude to God for preserving the lives of Abians and prayed for a month filled with peace, divine favour, prosperity, good health and greater opportunities for individuals, families and businesses across the state.
The philanthropist and political leader said the new month offers another opportunity for citizens to recommit themselves to the collective vision of building a stronger and more prosperous Abia, stressing that the progress recorded under Governor Otti’s administration should be protected through continuity.
According to him, the visible transformation in road infrastructure, governance, healthcare, education, economic development and public service reforms demonstrates that Abia is on the path of sustainable growth, adding that sustaining such achievements requires the continued support of the people.
The Undisputed and Undefeated Heavy Weight Wrestling Champion maintained that continuity remains the surest way to consolidate the gains already made, noting that consistent and purposeful leadership would enable the state to achieve even greater milestones in the years ahead.
He therefore called on all well-meaning Abians, irrespective of political affiliation, to identify with the OTTIMANIA Movement, describing it as a platform committed to mobilising grassroots support for the consolidation of the developmental strides being recorded under Governor Otti’s leadership.
He also urged eligible voters, particularly young people and those yet to register, to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards ahead of future elections, stressing that the PVC remains the most effective instrument for safeguarding democracy and determining the future of the state.
“The responsibility of building the Abia of our dreams belongs to every one of us. Our support for good governance must go beyond words. We must actively participate in the democratic process by obtaining our PVCs and supporting leaders who have demonstrated sincerity, competence and commitment to the welfare of the people,” he said.
Ambassador Offor further encouraged Abians to remain peaceful, united and hopeful, expressing confidence that with collective resolve and sustained support for visionary leadership, the state would continue to witness accelerated development and improved living standards.
He concluded by wishing all Abians a fruitful and fulfilling new month, praying for God’s continued blessings, protection and abundant grace upon every family, the state and the nation.
