The President of the Radio. Television Theatre and Arts Workers union ( RATTAWU) Nigeria Prince Emeka Kalu, has paid a courtesy visit to the owner of the Central Market, Kubwa, Abuja, High Chief Hon. Vincent Udobi, as part of efforts to foster strategic partnerships and strengthen community development initiatives.
During the visit, the President of RATTAWU , Prince Emeka kalu and his entourage had fruitful discussions with the leadership of the kubwa central market aimed at promoting economic empowerment and social stability.
Speaking during the engagement, High Chief Hon. Vincent Udobi identified unemployment as one of the major causes of insecurity in Nigeria. He emphasized that the growing rate of joblessness among Nigerian youths has significantly contributed to rising social unrest and criminal activities.
He therefore called on the government at all levels to deliberately partner entrepreneurs and private sector stakeholders to create sustainable employment opportunities. According to him, empowering young people through job creation and skills development remains a practical solution to reducing insecurity in the country.
The President of RATTAWU , Prince Emeka Kalu, in his remarks, commended High Chief Udobi for his visionary leadership and commitment to youth empowerment. He reiterated the union’s readiness to collaborate with relevant stakeholders in promoting initiatives that will enhance job opportunities and national development.
The visit was concluded with a renewed commitment to partnership and collective efforts toward building a safer and economically vibrant Nigeria.
