The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has officially announced former Super Eagles star and former Abia State Commissioner for Sports, Hon. Paschal Karibe Ojigwe, as its flag bearer for the Bende Federal Constituency House of Representatives election ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Ojigwe’s emergence follows the successful completion of the party’s nomination process, having earlier obtained his Expression of Interest Form with a firm commitment to offer innovative, accountable and people-oriented representation to the people of Bende Federal Constituency.
His emergence has been widely welcomed by supporters and political observers who believe that his remarkable achievements in sports administration, public service and leadership have adequately prepared him for legislative responsibilities at the National Assembly.
