A popular Anambra-based native doctor, Akwa Okuko Tiwaraki na Oba, has pleaded guilty to charges related to the practice of Okeite and has been sentenced to 11 months’ imprisonment. The court, in its ruling, handed down a series of pronouncements alongside the jail term. As part of the judgment, the native doctor will serve his 11-month sentence at the Awka Correctional Centre.
