Mother, Five Children Die After Consuming Contaminated Local Delicacy in Kano
A devastating incident has occurred in Gwarzo Local Government Area of Kano State, where a widow, Alhakatu Abdulkarim, and her five children lost their lives after eating a local delicacy, Danwake. The victims, who included Bashir, Firdausi, Hafsat, Usman, and Jamilu, passed away shortly after consuming the suspected contaminated food. According to the Kano State Police Command's spokesman, Abdullahi Haruna, the victims were rushed to Gwarzo General Hospital, where they were pronounced dead by medical professionals.
