Buratai described Wike’s action as “a dangerous assault on military discipline and a threat to national security.” He warned that the altercation undermines the authority of President Bola Tinubu as Commander-in-Chief and could weaken morale within the Armed Forces. “A minister’s verbal assault on a military officer is an act of profound indiscipline.
