Srushti Sudhir Jagtap, a 16-year-old girl from India, has broken the record for the longest dance marathon by a person with a time of 127 hours, breaking the previous mark of 126 hours set by Nepalese dancer Bandana Nepal in 2018. The Guinness World Record Official Adjudicator, Swapnil Dangarikar, stated that the dance marathon was held in her school auditorium, which was packed with supporters and her parents. They were also given sanitary pads by Girls Talk With Ariyiike (GTWA), a charity initiative led by actress and event host, Ariyiike Owolagba.
